Job Summary:

 

The Marketing Coordinator’s primary function is to assist the Department Manager in the Department’s Marketing activities. This includes providing and coordinating marketing resources toward a variety of outlets, provide, analyze and disseminate marketing data, and assisting in developing and finalizing marketing plans and programs. Additionally, assist in the cataloging, storing and maintenance of training and training programs, documents and literature for a variety of audiences both internal and external.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage Marketing documents such as the literature, Talking Points, etc. to insure they are current and current versions are in use in both digital and paper forms.
  • Coordinate Trade Show participation with particular emphasis on national shows especially AWWA ACE including booth, materials and participants.
  • Assist sales in having proper, appropriate marketing materials for Trade shows including exhibit booths & literature.
  • Coordinate activities with McWane Ductile’s advertising and marketing agency.
  • Manage schedule, collection of components, production and distribution of quarterly Modern McWane publication, both digitally and in print, to customers, both internal and external. Production and distribution is done via McWane Ductile’s advertising and marketing agency.
    • Modern McWane is to highlight key cities and successful large jobs and other articles that promote our products to customer base. Articles & photos will be provided by Sales Reps, Product Engineers and Sales Engineers.
  • Maintain Web sites & any other marketing sites of McWane Ductile, including social media sites and mobile app (McWane Pocket Engineer).
  • Ensure the consistent application of McWane Ductile branding in all published documents and other media.
  • Recommend, obtain and distribute promotional materials and giveaway items.
  • Work within the Department in White-boarding and implementing marketing campaigns as each prior campaign is fully implemented by the sales department.
  • Assist in managing the CRM database to insure reports are accurate and timely, effectiveness of lead sources as well as distribution of potential business opportunities.
  • Assist in developing sales leads via SRF lists, CIP’s and other major sources. Track effectiveness of Sales in following up on leads via CRM.
  • Track and report effectiveness of future Marketing campaigns via CRM or other acceptable method.
  • Assist and coordinate in developing a Technical and Sales Practice Training Manual to be used as a foundation for training and for a reference for all sales representatives. Manage main document to insure formatting is consistent and that it is current and updated at least annually.
  • Assist in managing any National Level Sales and/or Training Meetings
  • Other duties, activities and projects as assigned by Sales Operations Manager and/or VP of Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Business Degree, Bachelors or higher, Marketing discipline preferred but will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2 plus years work in marketing or sales, preferably in the utility or construction industry
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of MS Office
  • Demonstrate ability to update and edit web page/site, social media platforms particularly LinkedIn and App based tools (McWane Pocket Engineer app).
  • Ability to travel occasionally for trade shows and meetings both to US and Canada.
