McWane Ductile - Ohio is looking for an Environmental Intern/Co-Op. We are providing a broader scope description that encompasses what we do on a daily basis.
The objective of the internship is to develop students in our environmental management system through manufacturing and environmental experiences in a Foundry environment, as well as assist in the personal development of leadership competencies through training, networking and coaching. This would be a hands on opportunity to provide the intern with industrial environmental experiences. The assignment will help the applicant develop a wide range of leadership and functional competencies within the environmental field. Opportunities include learning how to apply EPA regulations to industry including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The applicant will utilize databases and software programs to help achieve compliance. Applicants will interact with employees at all levels of the organization to achieve desired results.
