We are looking for a creative and qualitative thinker who will be responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. The ideal Product Marketing Manager at Synapse will understand the technical capabilities of our products, the market problems that these solutions solve, and will have a keen understanding of our customers.  Using this knowledge, you will create and deliver a compelling story to the target market through our selected sales channels.  The Marketing Manager must be comfortable working alongside others in a product team as well as working with customers and our sales-channel partners to create a go-to-market plan for new and existing Synapse software and hardware solutions.


The Product Marketing Manager will be expected to identify pervasive market problems and contribute to the development of user and buyer persona's.  You will have the responsibility for product collateral that includes how our products or services solves the target customer's problems.


In this role, you will be given the opportunity to develop compelling messaging that differentiates our products in the market and translate these messages into marketing assets across multiple media platforms, including printed and electronic formats.


Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager will support development and delivery of sales training content and materials, such as sales presentations, data sheets, and solution briefs for readiness in preparation for launch and will communicate updates to key launch initiatives across the organization.


The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Generating and distributing sales tools, application notes, and other customer-facing materials
  • Performing market research and analysis
  • Keeping content relevant and managing overall product marketing asset inventory
  • Driving deliverables and deadlines within a predictable time-frame and communicating status and document progress toward milestones
  • Prioritizing and sequencing product marketing initiatives of many different projects and initiatives



Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business
  • 5+ years of Product Marketing experience developing and managing Product Marketing programs in a technology environment
  • Proven track record of creating effective marketing prioritization skills
  • Excellent time management and project prioritization skills
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, strategic marketing experience
  • Solid marketing knowledge and a demonstrated experience in developing and managing comprehensive B2B and/or B2C marketing campaigns/programs
  • Self-motivated individual with experience working a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to Drive, Develop and Execute initiatives across cross-functional groups
  • Detail and results oriented, with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as needed, estimated: 20%
