Welds together metal components such as pieces and parts to build gates, valves, and other water components and parts using electric arc-welding equipment. Aluminum Welding experience required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certification, Licenses, Registrations
Forklift Certification, past or present
Working knowledge of standard machine shop equipment and process.
Working knowledge of arc welding equipment
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to perform basic math skills, use decimals to compute ratios and percents, and to draw and interpret graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed of uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables.
