Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Prospect and develop lighting sales channels focused on cultivating national/enterprise customers.
  • Build and implement a sales strategy for penetrating previously untapped Project-Based lighting market segments.
  • Create strong relationships with key decision makers in the lighting sales cycle, from design specifiers to buying groups to project managers.
  • Establish Synapse as a partner with national and regional ESCOs and LMCs.
  • Utilize industry experience to increase Synapse brand awareness as the #1 independent wireless lighting solution provider.
  • Execute business plans that meet the strategic sales objectives of the company, including revenue growth, sales forecasting, opportunity development, and market expansion.

Skills

 

  • Required:  Lighting Industry Experience
  • Preferred: Success with selling Internet of Things “IoT” lighting controls and solutions
  • Required:  10+ years successful sales experience
  • Required:  Energetic and dedicated to do what is necessary in a fast-paced growing business
  • Required:  A business developer, able to open doors and create opportunities and close deals.
  • Required:  A solid work history of progressive achievement
  • Required:  Collaborative team member with an attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Required:  Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision

 **This role requires extensive travel.  Specific territory and company details will be discussed at the time of interview.

 

Education:  BS (EE a plus)
