Provide corporate support and facility maintenance for a multi-national private company. In general, the individual is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of various corporate facilities, supporting corporate personnel and helping to facilitate corporate flights.

Responsibilities at Corporate Hangar:


•              General oversight regarding corporate flight scheduling

•              Coordinating ground transportation and any other passenger needs as required

•              Coordinating any catering required for flights as required

•              Ensure that the hangar facilities and grounds are clean and neat prior to passenger arrival

•              Prepare hangar facility for passenger arrivals regarding entry gate and any beverages, food or other amenities required while         passengers are waiting for their flight

•              Track incoming aircraft to our hangar and park the aircraft upon its arrival

•              Communicate with aircraft crew as required to ensure passenger needs are met

•              Receive arriving passengers to hangar by greeting passengers, accepting their baggage and ensuring their baggage is loaded onto the aircraft

•              If passengers will not be returning with a corporate flight determine requirements for getting their vehicle to them upon their return

•              Usher passengers to aircraft at appropriate time

•              Marshall aircraft from hangar ramp

•              Fuel and clean passenger vehicles as required

•              Have necessary maintenance performed on vehicles as requested

•              Track arriving flight

•              Reposition passenger vehicles to parking area

•              Ensure that the hangar facilities and grounds are clean and neat

•              Configure passenger lounge as required

•              Marshall aircraft onto and from the hangar ramp

•              Assist passengers as they disembark from aircraft

•              Collect passenger luggage from aircraft and load into respective vehicles

•              Maintain all hangar/office facilities as necessary to include cleaning, general maintenance and upkeep of the facility indoors and outdoors

•              When unable to complete any particular hangar maintenance or repairs in house, contact vendors or contractors as required

•              Oversee general upkeep of grounds around hangar (generally completed by landscape contractor).

•              Assure compliance with Environmental Management System and Health and Safety programs at the hangar

•              Assist with duties and responsibilities as required in cooperation with various corporate facilities and personnel

•              Oversee maintenance and repairs of hangar based vehicles



Responsibilities at Corporate Headquarters 3rd Floor:


•              Keep kitchen tidy throughout the day

•              Empty dishwasher each morning

•              Collect dirty towels in work-out room, wash/dry and return

•              Keep refrigerator stocked with drinks throughout the day

•              Check all ceiling lights and lamps in all areas each day for operation and replace as necessary

•              Pickup mail at post office each day

•              Drop off any Fedex and UPS material as required

•              Collect daily newspapers from lobby each day and distribute

•              As required perforate yellow copies of checks monthly

•              As required assemble monthly financials

•              Assist 3rd floor personnel as required at facilities and properties in the Birmingham and surrounding areas as needed


Responsibilities at Corporate Headquarters 2nd floor offices:


•              Check all ceiling lights and lamps in all areas each day for operation and replace as necessary

•              Collect any 2nd floor inter company mail or correspondence and deliver to 3rd floor

•              Assist 2nd floor personnel as required



Additional duties:


•              Oversee maintenance and upkeep of company facilities on Vanderbilt Road, Richard Arrington Blvd North and other company owned facilities in the Birmingham area

•              Assist with maintenance of company owned vehicles as requested

•              Oversee annual vehicle tag renewal of all Birmingham based company owned vehicles




•              Working knowledge of general industrial/commercial facility upkeep to include but not limited to basic electricity skills, use of basic hand and power tools and basic troubleshooting skills

•              Basic computer skills with ability to understand general Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel

•              Must have good communication skills - both written and verbal

•              Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work unsupervised

•              Professional attitude and behavior
