Who We Are……

McWane Inc. has a newly created division, McWane Plant and Industrial (MPI). This new division, based in Birmingham, AL, combines all Plant and Industrial Products in a single customer-focused package. We offer comprehensive solutions through an experienced team of professionals specifically focused on these two special markets. Our Mission is to be the Plant and Industrial supplier who is “easiest to do business with”.  We will make it easier to engineer, specify, and order components for plants.  We will provide greater support for smoother delivery, cost-effective installation, and start-up. Most importantly, we will build strong relationships with design engineers, contractors, plant operations teams and project owners to assure we are their first-choice supplier for both new construction and future upgrades.

Responsibilities

MPI Regional Sales Manager, Northeast

 

Location

Must lived within the NE I-95 corridor (Boston or Philadelphia, preferable)

 

Directly reports to

National Sales Director, MPI

 

The Regional Sales Manager (NE) is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships for our water gates, valves, and accessories to these markets and key customers such as government agencies (water districts, utilities, flood control districts) and agricultural water users (growers, cooperatives).

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strategic sales plan designed to achieve regional sales and financial objectives.
  • Produce reports for annual budgets, expenditures, and forecasting.
  • Respond expediently and strategically to customer reported concerns related to product or warranty.
  • Demonstrate expert level knowledge of current pricing for both MPI and all competitors.
  • Achieve SME product knowledge for valves and products offered by MPI.
  • Responsible for knowledge of ongoing and potential projects in your geographic area; all stages, design through bidding.
  • Cultivate communication and trust with city, town, and county planning committees.
  • Utilize all tools provided to track and log contacts, project phases, and future development opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong communication plan with Inside Sales Representatives, Project, and Engineering Managers.
  • Produce approved weekly and monthly reporting efficiently and timely.
  • Work diligently to become a strong business partner with your MPI counterparts in other geographical areas.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree.
  • Minimum two (2) years of CRM management experience.
  • Minimum ten (10 years directly related experience in Sales or Sales Management in the following industries: water treatment/waste, construction, manufacturing, and/or utilities.
  • Minimum five (5) years of strategic goal setting and project management experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Management, or related field from an accredited college/university.
