Excellent grammar and writing / speaking skills.
Good technical writing skills - formatting / writing owner's manuals and customer proposals in Word.
Able to navigate through MIL test standards successfully and determine product compliance gaps.
Able to review and understand customer performance specifications and make product recommendations.
Fire suppression knowledge a plus.
Understanding of government contracting a plus.
Primary Job Functions: Support of Defense Project Manager on Day-to-day basis:
Other General Department Duties:
Minimum of High School or GED education.
Preference for two or four year technical degree beyond high school.
Military experience with ground vehicle maintenance, upgrades, logistics a plus.
5-10 years relevant work experience desired; retired military encouraged to apply.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft business programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to physically relocate to Birmingham, AL area.
Willing to travel up to 15% of the time.
