Overview

Clow has three openings for Summer Help in our Small Valve Department -the successful candidate would begin work in early to mid May 2024.

 

SHIFTS ARE AS FOLLOW: 1-1st Shift, 1-2nd Shift, & 1- Weekend Shift

STARTING RATE OF PAY: $24.73

HEALTH INSURANCE AFTER 60 DAYS.

 

 

This position is responsible for assembly of small valves. This includes but is not limited to assembly of parts, subassemblies & components, testing, loading/ unloading, and palletizing finished product.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the successful candidate include but are not limited too:

•Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
•Positions parts and components by using work instructions.
•Verifies specifications by testing product and visually inspecting quality.
•Assembles products using hand tools and other equipment.
•Resolves verifiable assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if needed.
•Palletizes and gets product ready for shipment, once complete.
•Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
•Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing production requirements as required. 

Qualifications

Qualifications include but are not limited too:

•Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
•Frequent bending, lifting & twisting of up to 12 times per hour.

•Standing greater than 6 hours per day.

•Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left.

•Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, exert force, wear gloves & utilize tools.

•Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
•Ability to work with hands in water.
•Manufacturing experience & working around machinery considered.
•Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses, metatarsal & guarded boots.
