McWane’s Corporate IT Team is looking to fill a technical, hands-on position in Network Operations. The primary purpose of this position is to troubleshoot and resolve network issues, implement and lead network peripherals, implement and handle DHCP, DNS as well as assist in the team effort in continuing to develop network and systems monitoring. The position will require that the individual document work performed in Service Now as it pertains incidents and service requests so we can continue to build knowledge base articles for the more common issues. The incumbent will also work within Service Now to create change documentation and will work to complete those change(s) within established maintenance windows each month. The position will require the individual to create, document and work to complete projects as assigned by McWane’s Sr. Network Architect. Ultimately, the position is a supporting role that will work with the team to accomplish the yearly goals set by the IT Strategic Planning Committee, and work in a tier II capacity to support fellow team members and McWane’s Divisional IT Teams. The position will primarily work at the Corporate Office, but travel to McWane’s Division’s will be required while projects are ongoing.
